Group gîte in Camargue - Description
The gîte is a vast dwelling. Its name comes from the imposing bread oven that still stands in the main room, a reminder of a time when many people worked together on the farms of the Camargue.
Some writings suggest that Saint Germain was once a monastery whose main purpose was to grow cereals. With the ruins of the Villeneuve mill nearby, we can imagine that it was only a short step to the local supply of large quantities of bread.
This gîte sleeps 6 people, and has the option of opening onto the Mas guest room, bringing the total capacity to 13 people. Outside, there is a courtyard/terrace and a garden with garden furniture, close to the children's play area.
