Cabane Camarguaise, Gîte for 4 people
A typical Camargue shepherd's hut, once home to the Mas shepherds, then renovated in keeping with tradition for our guests.
Cabane Camarguaise, Gîte for 4 people - Description
The Cabane du Gardian, a building steeped in history in St Germain, once became a “hunting lodge”, then a “shepherd's hut”, welcoming several pastoral families. In 2014, it was reborn as it was originally intended to be: “La Cabane du Gardian”!
The interior features the central pillar and steeply pitched roof typical of traditional hut architecture, covered with Camargue reeds of course.
This is a quiet, self-contained gîte with two terraces, one sunny, the other shady, and a garden. It is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. La Cabane du Gardian has one bedroom and a mezzanine.
